ARE You The One? star Alexis Eddy has died at 23 after telling her “perfect match” she had beaten her drug and alcohol demons.

Anthony Martin exclusively told The SunOnline that his “good friend” was “off everything” when they spoke only a week ago.

Mannington Police Department in West Virginia previously told The SunOnline that they responded to a female in cardiac arrest call on Thursday, January 9.

After attempts to revive the reality star, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anthony told The Sun Online: “The last time we spoke she was completely fine. She said she was off everything. She was doing so well.

"I was really happy for her. It’s hard to overcome something like that."

Anthony explained how Alexis struggled with drugs and alcohol after filming Are You The One? in 2017.

He said: “She was having a rough time with substance abuse a few months ago. When she was out drunk and wanted someone to vent to. I was the one she reached out to.

“I always checked in on her and lectured her. It got through to her because she was sober and fine.”

Alexis attended a treatment facility in September 2019.

Alexis captioned a photo at the center: “Recovery at its finest. Gr8ful 2 b clean and sober. #justfortoday.”

Anthony said how filming for season six of the MTV series was “hard” on Alexis.

He explained: “It’s a party environment. We all drank and had fun. It’s hard to be in a house and not speak to the outside world. I can only imagine what she was feeling.”

Anthony is remembering his friend as an "amazing, beautiful and humble soul."

He continued: “The cast is sending prayers to her and her family. We want to attend the funeral.

"Life is so short."

Authorities confirmed to The SunOnline that an autopsy and toxicology test will be performed to determine cause of death.

Although Anthony and Alexis were a perfect match, they dated other people while on the show.

He captioned a photo of the couple on Instagram: "Woke up to some horrible news. Still can’t believe that you are gone. We had just talked a week ago and I never in my life thought that it would be our last conversation.

"You were such a passionate, humble, outgoing, loving person and it was such an honor to have met you and to be able to call you a friend. I love you so much Alexis and you will forever be missed. R.I.P. PM"
